The BMW K75 "T" Model

The K75 "T" (Touring) model was only available in North America. The K75T was sold starting in 1986. It's purpose was to make a K75C more amenable to long distance touring in the US and Canada. In 1990, production of the K75C stopped and the K75RT was introduced.

They were manufactured on the K75C production line and a VIN decode will show a T as a C. The T had the following differences & options from a regular K75C:

A Large Windscreen

Mounted to the handlebars in order to provide better wind protection.

Standard Model K100 Headlight Surround

In order to accommodate the windscreen.

Engine Protection Bars

I believe these were an option.

K100 RT Handlebars

(Same as the later K75RT handlebars)

For a more upright tiding position.

"Comfort" Seat

"Carved out" and more comfortable than the "square" stock seats.

(may have been an option)

BMW "Integral" Side Cases

Tail Rack

To hold the top case.

22 Liter Top Case

Here's a few pictures of K75Ts that I found on The Internet. I also found a reference that someone paid $4,850 for a new K75T in 1986.
