Replace A Fuel Or Temp Gauge Bulb

You want to do this with the face of the gauge pointing up. Otherwise, if you pull on the L shaped springed terminal with the face pointing down then the bulb can fall into the gauge and then you'll have to spend a minute or two shaking it out. Just pull on the L shaped terminal fairly hard and twist until the bulb socket comes out. To get the bulb out of the socket, push the bulb in and turn it counterclockwise 90 degrees.
